Choosing your program based on the lowest price; buyer beware. With providers knowing how you evaluate a program, many provide stripped down energy rates without outlining what is not included in the quote. Only to learn once in your program, you are exposed to unwanted costs.
Read the fine print
Missing the fine print in contracts; remember the big print GIVES and the small print TAKES.
Timing is everything
Timing your contract term; understanding market factors in determining the length of your next agreement.
Be careful what you sign
Entering supply agreements that negate company energy efficiency efforts.
