Business Succession Planning - What is in it for me?
This presentation will be important to you if: you are a business owner, you know a business owner, or you work for a business owner. A Succession plan will provide a smooth leadership transition, preparation for cash harvest, ensuring a comfortable retirement, preserving your family and creating a legacy. A recent national survey of business owners showed 94% of owners agree that their exit strategy is important for their company's future and their personal plans for the future; 82% of owners have indicated that they have started formal education exit strategy to help plan for their exit, 78% of owners are indicating they are trying to form a formal exit planning team to help them develop this strategy, 53% are saying they do not have a formal, written personal purpose and plan; 47% of owners say that exit strategy right now is their top priority; and 37% have indicated they in fact do have a formal, written and com minuted exit strategy.
