Summer Youth Employment Success and Incumbent Worker Training Program
DESCRIPTION:
Marion County Job and Family Services and OhioMeansJobs Marion have a new and improved Summer Youth Employment Program. The program allows the youth and young adults ages 16-24 to gain a paid work experience in a career field that interest them. We will also provide training and certification activities though out the course of the program. The presentation will also include an overview on the Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) Program. This program allows employers to upskill their workforce to increase productivity, increase retention, and prevent layoffs.
