What is "Aging in Place?"
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Children and/or caregivers of seniors or elderly
QUESTIONS to ANSWER:
What is Aging in Place and what are the challenges for children and Caregivers? Are you part of the "Sandwich Generation?" What is the "Loneliness Epidemic"?
Aging in place means a person making a conscious decision to stay in the inhabitation of their choice for as long as they can with the comforts that are important to them. The “Sandwich Generation” are caregivers who find themselves squeezed in between caring for younger loved ones such as children, and their elder parents or other elder family members. The Senior Loneliness Epidemic is one of the biggest health threats to elderly Americans that is often overlooked.
