211: The Front Door to Services
DESCRIPTION:
211 is the gateway to services in Marion County offering efficient, accurate information, solving the problem of not knowing what is available, helping clients to feel less isolated and hopeless, and walking clients through complex social service systems. 988 is the new 3-digit number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, offering critical and life-saving crisis intervention to the community. We will review how these services work and the benefits they provide to your staff, clients, and the entire community.
