DESCRIPTION Series 1:
Introduction to Facebook - If you are a business and have not created a Facebook page - or - created a page, but have no idea how to use it, this is the class for you! Bring your laptops or tablets and join us for a two hour session to build your Facebook platform from ground zero. Learn the do's and don'ts of this social media powerhouse and why you should be there! Learn how to engage, get noticed and post relevant posts.
INSTRUCTOR:
Nicole Workman, Director of Public Relations at Marion Technical College, understands the challenges that businesses face to carve out their niche amongst the media clutter. She manages several forms of media and has found that the social platforms allow engagement, brand loyalty, feedback, and analytics that create an environment for adjustment and growth.
Workman has had formal training in social media and has been using the platforms for several years. She brings with her over nineteen years of experience in the communication field. She has worked in every realm of marketing from media buying, trade show organization, event planning, sales, graphic & web design, public relations, and social media.
She is a graduate of The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio with a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Journalism and a Minor in Communications. Workman also holds a Master's Degree in Communication and Leadership through Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.
